What is a text link banner?

A text link banner is a basic type of promotional material that allows you to prepare slogans in a simple HTML format. Banners with text links typically have one title line, two or three lines of text, and a website address where you want to redirect your customers to. Some websites display multiple banners in groups. Text link banners aren’t intrusive and are easy to implement on any website.

In your installation, simply navigate to Menu Configuration > Banners & Links Formats, and edit the template used for this type of banner.

Why should you use text banners?

Text link banners are an excellent tool for businesses that need banners that can be easily transported and don’t have recurring costs once created, especially those that sponsor many local events or attend trade shows frequently. The advertising you do with banners reinforces your business’ name each time someone sees it. Banners that are placed in high-traffic areas will expose them to the same customer multiple times per day. Having your company name displayed semi-permanently or influencing potential clients may strengthen your brand over time.
